Fictional: Eloise: lived at the Plaza, wore great patent-leather mary janes, and was always in search of an adventure; timeless. Real: My partner, Andrew; he’s the best backseat driver I know.

What’s the best meal you’ve eaten in New York?
I’m not a long meal person, but I do love brown-rice sushi at Sushi Sen-nin on 33rd Street, hidden gem …

In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
I design a whole lotta clothing and try to make women look hot in pants (hence the nickname, Staceypants!).

Where do you get your coffee?
Green tea from teany. My friend Kelly sends me giant bags of genmaicha, all-natural loose leaf. I hate tea bags. We make it here at the showroom.

What’s the last thing you saw on Broadway?
Mary Poppins!

Do you give money to panhandlers?
I prefer to buy them food.

What’s your drink?
Green tea or a margarita with Patron Silver.

How often do you prepare your own meals?
Never, unless you count a bowl of cereal before yoga as prepared breakfast.

What’s your favorite medication?
Vicodin. For menstrual cramps.

What’s hanging above your sofa?
Above it? A luggage sticker my friend Brad stuck up there when he stayed at my apartment one weekend that I am too short to get down.

How much is too much to spend on a haircut?
Around $30, straight across at the barber, but I guess it depends how much hair you have.

Sleep is overrated.

Pro on weekend, never during the week.

What do you hate most about living in New York?
Traffic. I think that’s the only thing I hate. Oh, actually trash on the streets is gross, too.

When’s the last time you drove a car?
With a license, 2002. Without a license, a few months ago in L.A., and now my boyfriend will know what happened to his bumper.
