Just when we thought ankle booties would stay the reigning “It” shoe, classic, comfy flat boots hit the runways in droves. Anna Sui stitched in a western design to her metallic knee-highs, while Richard Chai sent out Han Jin in a pair of coffee-colored slouchy suedes. A pair of fire-engine-red calf boots with four buckles on each foot clomped down the catwalk at Marc by Marc Jacobs looking like a glam ski boot.
