Naomi Campbell Banned, Skies Return to Friendly

British Airways has a plan to keep its planes free of shit fits and loogies: Ban Naomi Campbell. Brilliant, no? Perhaps the airline got the whole “ban” idea from Giorgio Armani? (Though Cathy Horyn is hardly as menacing, an idea’s an idea.) The airline banned Campbell following her purported temper tantrum last week (which included spitting in a policeman’s face) when she learned one of her bags was too heavy for her plane. British Airways wouldn’t comment on “individual passengers” but clearly plans to make an example out of Campbell, who’s in denial, according to the Mirror:

But it is adamant that it will not carry Naomi, 37, after she lost her temper in a row over a bag. A source said: “Banning her will send out a worldwide signal that such behaviour is totally unacceptable.”

If we learn one thing from all of this, today would probably be a good day to leave Naoms alone. Especially if she’s got blunt objects handy.
