Rock-and-roll-inspired Williamsburg label Love Brigade is releasing a limited-edition graphic T-shirt at the New Museum on Thursday to coincide with the opening of the “After Nature” exhibition. The show depicts images of future environmental disaster, and Love Brigade’s darkly artistic tee features hazy brown branches screen-printed on black cotton jersey. There will be less than ten shirts available at the museum for the opening on Thursday — and no more than 200 will be made in total — so hurry over if you want to snag one. (Eco-chicks take note: They come in extra small, too.) The piece is the first in a series of collaborations between art and fashion at the museum, with future design partnerships in the works for the upcoming exhibits of Elizabeth Peyton and Mary Heilmann.

The “Through the Trees” shirt is part of Love Brigade’s fall 2008 “Love, Kurt” line, inspired by the artwork of Kurt Cobain. The collection is done in rich nature tones with angular cutouts, asymmetrical seams, hanging straps, and snap-button details.
