Anna Wintour and her team may be hard at work planning Fashion’s Night Out, a global event to encourage shopping on September 10, but the Lower East Side is already getting a jump start on becoming a collective sales community. Twenty-one stores are banding together this weekend to host simultaneous sales with discounts ranging from 10 to 30 percent off in celebration of (capsule), a menswear trade show for up-and-coming labels and streetwear brands.
