Zero + Maria Cornejo to Launch Menswear Collection

Maria Cornejo is launching a capsule collection of menswear for spring. The designer first previewed four unisex menswear looks at her Zero + Maria Cornejo spring 2010 runway show in September, and the response was so positive that she expanded her men’s offerings for the season, taking all the comfortable, chic elements of her women’s line and transferring them to the boys. The collection includes the runway pieces — including a printed scoop-neck T-shirt, navy rain jacket, sheer brown sweater, and tailored black pants — as well as drawstring wool shorts, cotton fleece blazers, and cotton mesh knits. A representative also confirmed she’s introducing a summer plaid print to the collection, which hits the designer’s Zero + Maria Cornejo stores and No. 8b on January 15.
