French Beauty Leader Yves Rocher Dies at 79; Elizabeth Taylor Beats Diddy in Sales

• Yves Rocher, founder of the Yves Rocher beauty company, died on Saturday owing to a stroke. He was known for his ecofriendly attitude of “beauty through plants” and developed his company’s products free of synthetic ingredients. He was 79. [WWD]

• Cosmetics executive Anthony Minuto filed a lawsuit against his former business partner, makeup-company founder Vincent Longo. Minuto claims he was dumped from the company without cashing out his 25 percent stake, and is suing for almost $5 million in damages. [Page Six/NYP]
