The Ace Hotel on Broadway and 29th Street is quickly turning the neighborhood from bland and corporate to cool and fashionable. It’s already booked expensive, trendy Chinatown boutique Project No. 8 for one retail space, and just recruited Opening Ceremony, which will open its fourth-ever store in the 1,500-square-foot space on the Broadway side. When both stores open in February, you’ll have a compelling reason other than Barneys to shop above Houston. Or at least two new stores to feel woefully poor in. [Racked]
