Fur was all over the runways yesterday. So far Richard Chai, Vena Cava, Chado Ralph Rucci, and Jen Kao all sent out hides — it’s a trend! — and it was only the first day of shows. Cushnie et Ochs used silver fox fur, thanks to the label’s sponsor Saga Fur. “We actually did fur for our last fall collection, but we had more this time,” Michelle Ochs told us, explaining that they made an effort to use more this season. “Saga, who sponsors us, has been really great about it. So we used it in a much larger capacity.” But are they worried about a PETA revolt? “No,” she said. “I mean, you can’t make everyone happy.”
