Show Off Your Fuzz: Fox, Goat, Beaver, and More Fur Hits the Runways

Fall’s fur-heavy fashions will surely have PETA reaching for the red paint. Designers have been sending a veritable menagerie of pelts down the runways this season. Yesterday, Lynn Yaeger noted Doo.Ri and Altuzarra’s use of goat fur in their latest collections. Nicole Miller topped structured outerwear with fur epaulets, Vena Cava fixed fox stoles to models’ shoulders, Peter Som showed technicolor pelts over printed dresses, and Jeremy Laing crafted lightweight toppers out of beavers, raccoons, and muskrats (oh my!), as a nod to his Canadian roots. But fall fur isn’t relegated to outerwear alone. Cynthia Steffe and Jen Kao also outfitted their models in plush skirts and dresses. Think you’re brave enough to rock a mink mini?
