Let’s Party: Fashion Week’s Best Bashes

Where you sit at a show is supposed to be a social-status indicator. But everyone knows that it’s what parties you get invited to that really matters. If you’re not out all night every night, then you’re just not doing it right. Here’s a rundown of the soirées to hit, but crashers be warned: They’re invite only.

Jen Kao after-party. TBD Feb. 11, 10 p.m.–2 a.m. Jen Kao, Keegan Singh, Eddie Borgo, Alejandro Ingelmo, Fabiola Beracasa, Lauren Santo Domingo, and more ... . This is the cool kids' party.
Keith Haring by House of Field Good Units, 353 W. 57th St. Feb. 11, 10 p.m. until ... Patricia Field, Susanne Bartsch, and Kenny Kenny host, and scores of musicians and D.J.'s play. The nineties are indeed back: Don't forget your glow sticks.
"Fashion Loves Hanuk" Exhibit and Party 57 Bond St., at Bowery Feb. 12, 7–10 Photographer Hanuk is joined by fashion notables (Carine Roitfeld, Prabal Gurung) for the opening of his exhibit. A percentage of proceeds from the evening's sales benefits victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
Ruffian Dinner and Party The Box, 189 Chrystie, nr. Rivington Feb. 12, 9 p.m. This most coveted invite is hosted by none other than Lorenzo Martone. Any excuse to rub elbows with the soon-to-be Mr. Marc Jacobs is a good one.
Seven New York Party Tribeca Grand Feb. 12, 10 p.m.–4 a.m. Joseph Quartana, Mike Nouveau, the Misshapes, threeasfour, and many, many more. It's the tenth anniversary of what's arguably the coolest boutique in NYC.
Charlotte Ronson After-Party Avenue, Tenth Ave. at 17th St. Feb. 12, 10:30–12:30 C-Ron is joined by her mom and sister, who are the musical entertainment for the night. There won't be any LiLo drama (we hope), but there will be a Temptu Tattoo booth with temporary tats that say "Life is her drug."
rag & bone After-Party Provocateur, 18 Ninth Ave., at 13th St. Feb. 12, 10 p.m.–2 a.m. Marcus Wainright and David Neville are joined by D.J. Matt Creed, one of Paper's Beautiful People of 2009. The venue is intimate, and the crowd gorgeous.
Richard Chai LOVE Launch Party White Slab Palace, 77 Delancey at Allen Feb. 14, 9–11 p.m. Richard's friends (Phillip Lim, Thakoon Panichgul, Julie Gilhart, Arden Wohl, etc.) join forces to throw him a little soirée. An excuse to celebrate one of the great young designers on the scene.
Bebe Soho Store Launch 488 Broadway, nr. Broome Feb. 15, 6–8 p.m. Elle co-hosts this bash for Bebe, along with a slew of beauty companies. There's only one reason to go: Kim Kardashian!
Calvin Klein After-Party A Studio on Little West 12th St. Feb. 18 Francisco Costa, Italo Zucchelli, Kellan Lutz, Mehcad Brooks, and a who's who in fashion. CK is skipping its usual dinner for a 300-person party. It's a must-go.
