Lara Stone Replaces Sasha Pivovarova in Prada Campaign; Akon’s His-and-Her Fragrances Now Available

FRAGRANCE
Lara Stone is the new face for Prada’s fragrance, Infusion d’Iris, and stars in a campaign shot by Steven Meisel (seen above). The scent launched in 2007 with Sasha Pivovarova as the face, and Fashion Spot commenters think the campaigns look similar. Lara has brown eyes, but they’re blue in the photo, like Sasha’s. • Akon launched his first two fragrances this week, which are named Konvict Femme and Konvict Homme. The scents come in handcuff-shaped bottles for $42 each, and are available online now. Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to Akon’s Konfidence Foundation. His use of K-words is just so krazy and kool. [Honey Mag]

HAIR
• A new survey says that hair straighteners are more important to women than hair dryers. Do you agree? [Daily Mail UK]

SKIN
• Chris Noth says he decided to become the spokesperson for the Biotherm Homme face-care brand because he considers beauty an important part of his routine. “It’s kinda like working out. You do it not just because it helps your body, but it also makes you feel clarity, grounded. You’re on this earth and have to deal with gravity.” [I’m a Beauty Geek]

• Leigh Lezark, Chanel beauty ambassador, uses cleaning masks and exfoliators once or twice a week to “make up for bad habits” and keep her skin fresh. She also dyes her hair every three weeks. [Beauty Fool]

• Researchers at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland concluded that men with wider faces are less trustworthy. However, the team also advised the public to refrain from jumping to conclusions about every guy who has a big face. [Telegraph UK]

MAKEUP
• The Shiseido counter at the Takashimaya store in Japan is now home to a digital makeup mirror that allows customers to test makeup without actually putting products on their skin. The mirror scans the customer and generates recommendations from the image. [Springwise]

NAILS
Reem Acra and Tracy Reese both have shown black-lace manicures on their runways in the past, and now there are step-by-step directions available if you want to get the look yourself. Hint: It actually involves lace. [StyleList]
