When Kristy Kaurova first broke out last season, we weren’t exactly sold on her classic Eastern European looks. Despite a solid debut, walking for Calvin Klein in New York, Jil Sander in Milan, and Miu Miu in Paris, we were hesitant to invest ourselves in yet another Russian newcomer. But a season later, we’ve become her cheerleaders. Unexpectedly, the 21-year-old bagged the spring BCBG Max Azria campaign, alongside rising star Anastasia Kuznetsova. After an agency switch to Women Management, Kristy walked the fall Prada menswear show in Milan, then reported for duty at Givenchy’s spring couture show in Paris a week later. And for this fashion week, she walked the Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Louis Vuitton, and Celine runways. We might just be her new biggest fans.
