Corporate Responsibility magazine compiled its first ever “black list” of the worst — or least transparent — companies. As defined by the magazine, transparency means making information about things like employee benefits, environmental policies, or philanthropic efforts readily available. Abercrombie and Weight Watchers both landed on the list. None of the worst companies provided comment when contacted by the magazine, perhaps only further justifying their placement on list. [NYT]
