The Daily reports that designer Laura Poretzky’s label Abaeté is closed and stopped production in October of last year. Abaeté, which drew a decent celebrity following to its Fashion Week shows, was the first designer label to do a collection for Payless ShoeSource. Poretzky didn’t respond to requests for comment.
