Red-Carpet Looks From the Met Gala

The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s new exhibit, American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity is the theme for tonight’s Met Gala. So naturally, American labels are well-represented on the red carpet — Zoe Saldana chose Calvin Klein, while Oprah Winfrey picked a custom Oscar de la Renta gown. Gap, who sponsored the ball this year, also collaborated with several designers to dress attendees like Vera Farmiga (in Sophie Theallet for Gap), and Kirsten Dunst (in Rodarte for Gap). Of course, Europeans aren’t completely shut out — Jessica Szohr’s in Versace, Bee Shaffer’s in Balenciaga, and Anna Wintour chose Chanel (again).
