New York fashion director Harriet Mays Powell caught up with Stella McCartney at her resort 2011 presentation last night. Sorry, spring presentation. “How unsexy is that word? Does anyone even use the word resort?” the designer asked. “Even people that have resorts. We call it spring.” Which is fitting, since the season inspired the collection (which we’ll be posting in full soon). “It’s hopeful and uplifting.
