Gilt Groupe Oversells Milk Crates and Salad Plates

Think you clicked fast enough to snag yourself some bug-printed salad plates by John Derian for Target when they hit Gilt Groupe on Friday? Not so fast, speedy fingers: Gilt Groupe has issued e-mails apologizing to customers whose orders they are unable to deliver due to overselling. In addition to refunding these customers, Gilt has given them a $25 credit, which is pretty generous considering the plates start at $2 a piece.
