ins and outs

Anne Christensen Hires T’s Melissa Martin As Glamour’s New Style Director

Earlier this week, it was announced that fashion editor-at-large Suze Yalof Schwartz would be leaving Glamour for California, a move, Yalof Schwartz told us via The Cut’s comments section, that was entirely unrelated to Anne Christensen’s recent hiring (turns out, the two are old Vogue pals). So then yesterday, new fashion director Christensen hired her former T co-worker, Melissa Ventosa Martin (the mag’s women’s fashion market director), to be Glamour’s style director, a newly created position. Christensen left T after Vogue’s Sally Singer was tapped for the editor-in-chief position she was expected to get. The Ventosa Martin hire is especially significant because it shows Christensen is deadly serious about expanding Glamour’s fashion coverage. [Daily Front Row]
