Southwestern styles have been popping up everywhere, from Pendleton’s ongoing collaborations with Opening Ceremony and Urban Outfitters to Ralph Lauren’s spring 2011 collection. And while we may not wear the look head-to-toe, we’re definitely ready to try the style in shoe form. Enter Manimal moccasins. Brooklyn designer Kristen Lombardi works with three craftspeople to make each of her shoes by hand, resulting in carefully stitched and gathered kicks, overlaid with geometric cut-outs. And, if you like the look but don’t wear animal products, Lombardi also sells vegan versions of her designs.
