Mary Meyer’s fall 2010 collection just landed online, and it offers a welcome progression of her starkly cool aesthetic: contrast leggings, hand-bleached dresses, and new prints. Among the best of the lot is the double-layer long jacket, available in black and white. It has the slouchy look of a boyfriend blazer, but is made from cozy modal fleece and lined in cotton. (Plus, it has pockets for stashing your keys or wallet.) But it’s the graphic triangle design on the back that sets this jacket apart from the rest: minimal and simply chic without feeling like another overdone tribal print.
