Naomi Campbell Does Not Want Anyone to Know Where She Is

Dolce & Gabbana celebrated Naomi Campbell’s 25th year in fashion at its Madison Avenue store last night, but, this year, the iconic model is taking some time for herself. “I’m not retiring, just taking the season off,” she told us. “I mean, if one of my friends asks me, like Stefano [Gabbana], sure, I’d be professional and walk,” she added. But, “I don’t really [walk].”

So how has the model’s summer been? “Pretty good,” she explained. “I’ve run around, had fun, traveled.” Also, testifed at a war-crimes tribunal for former Liberian leader Charles Taylor at the Hague, but that didn’t seem to be worth mentioning. Before she was pulled away, we asked if we could keep up with her over the Internet. Alas: “I don’t do Facebook,” she said. “I don’t do Twitter. None of that. I don’t have to do any of that. I just don’t want anyone to know where I am.”
