What’s in for spring 2011? Scandinavian girls, apparently. “[There have been] a lot of requests this season,” Andrew Weir, casting director and owner of ACW Worldwide, told our video team when it dropped by the Hudson Hotel Library on Saturday to observe the company’s pre-casting call. Weir and his crew were searching for models to walk in the Y-3, Zac Posen, G-Star Raw, Ruffian, Rebecca Taylor, and Yoana Baraschi spring 2011 shows — a process that saw roughly 250 girls (including IMG’s Ariel Meredith) doing their turns in front of the ACW team.
