Leighton Meester has signed a deal to be the face of Vera Wang’s yet-unnamed new fragrance, which Wang describes as “young” and will drop next summer in department stores nationwide. The ad campaign, which will hit magazines in summer 2011, is being shot this weekend in Manhattan by Carter Smith (who has shot the campaigns for Wang’s past two clothing collections). This is a major step up in the world of designer campaigns for Meester, who has previously been in ads for Reebok and Herbal Essences.
