Salvatore Ferragamo will sponsor a new da Vinci exhibition opening at the Louvre in Paris next month. Likely in exchange, Ferragamo’s forthcoming resort show will be the first runway show ever allowed inside the museum’s “historical interiors.” (Although the Louvre did allow Juergen Teller to shoot Charlotte Rampling and Raquel Zimmermann there in the buff.) And because Ferragamo asked so nicely, the whole affair should go much better than the last time a French art museum doubled as a catwalk.
