The vintage, red and black polka-dot Christian Dior gown that Natalie Portman wore to last month’s Oscars can no longer be yours, as if there ever were a doubt. An unnamed British collector picked up the size-four, strapless dress for the low, low price of $50,000 on 1stdibs.com, which bills itself as the purveyor of “The Most Beautiful Things on Earth.” Indeed.
