FRAGRANCE

• The latest celebrity to create a scent? Pope Benedict XVI — although his, unfortunately, won’t be for sale. The Italian perfumer who made the cologne (she’s also worked with Sting, Madonna, and King Juan Carlos of Spain) said it’s meant to reflect the Pope’s love of the forests and animals in his native Bavaria. [Telegraph UK]

• Adam Levine says even though he’s knocked celebrity fragrances in the past, his is going to be “cool.” “I kind of thought to myself, ‘Well I’m interested in fashion and there’s a lot of things about it that could be really cool if done properly,” he says. “So I want to do a thing that’s never done properly. That’s my goal.” [PeopleStyleWatch]

COSMETIC SURGERY

• Ashley Judd is getting plenty of attention for her visibly puffed-up face, which has people wondering what kind of cosmetic procedure went wrong. [E!]

HAIR

• Miss Piggy made Anderson Cooper try on some wigs in an attempt to help him change him his stagnant look. [Fashion Week Daily]

• The hairstylists on Saturday Night Live order up to five or six custom wigs per show. The show’s been on for 35 years — you do the math. [Allure]
