Despite a new licensing deal and expansions into both Middle East and Asian markets in the past year, the heritage brand’s owners, Harold Tillman (also owner of the British label Jaeger London) and Belinda Earl, reportedly initiated the sale. Two Asia-based trading/equity firms are rumored to be interested in the purchase.
