Last year, Aerin Lauder left her job as senior vice-president and creative director at her family’s company, Estée Lauder, to start her own lifestyle brand, Aerin LLC. Now, WWD reports, Aerin LLC will start making its way into stores at the end of the summer:

Beauty will bow in late August and early September, with tabletop and gift offerings to follow for holiday. Personal accessories, fabrics and more home items will bow in spring 2013, as well as a book on living and style from Random House imprint Clarkson Potter, due the following fall.

Her debut Aerin Essentials cosmetics collection — still made by the Estée Lauder Companies, Inc., of course — includes foundation, lip and cheek color, lip conditioner, hand and body cream, makeup bags, and brushes, and is priced between $28 and $148. She plans to add in different, “on-trend offerings four times a year,” and the products will join her ReNutriv skin-care brand on shelves.

However, Aerin won’t look to her late grandmother only for her beauty savvy. Of the jewelry collection she’s designing for Aerin LLC, she told WWD: “I have this incredible book of all of Estée’s pieces, and it’s such a great sense of inspiration.” (We’re sure she had opinions on tabletop and gift offerings, too.) John Demsey, a group president of the Estée Lauder Companies, summed it up, “If Estée Lauder was alive today, she’d be doing what Aerin is doing.” That’s probably true.
