Kate Moss, Lara Stone, and Daria Werbowy each nabbed a cover, clad in the same Dolce & Gabbana dress, captured by Mert & Marcus. Quelle surprise! But this edition of the glossy comes with a series of changes. WWD reports, “The magazine features a cleaner, airier design, with remodeled typography and the use of a craft-paper-like brown background — both of which hark back to its look in the Sixties and Seventies.” Several sections have been renamed, like “Le point de vue de Vogue” (formerly the editor’s letter) and “C’est Vogue” (pages filled with the editors’ accessories picks, once known as “Zoom”). Blogger Garance Doré sent in a double-page column called “Humeur,” featuring her commentary and illustrations, and the issue also “opens its pages to three exclusive guests: Giorgio Armani, Raf Simons, and Isabelle Huppert,” according to Vogue.fr. Editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt is quoted as saying, “Always fashionably early, Vogue further asserts her radical opinion and continues to cultivate her beauty.” She sounds like someone we’d be friends with. We’d definitely raid her black-clothes-filled closet, at the very least.

At right, Alt’s “point de vue.”
