Kristen Stewart Can’t Think About How She’s Going to Conduct Herself in Public

Kind of like that time Katie Holmes’s Elle cover came out mere days after she and Tom Cruise announced their divorce (but the interview was held before the news broke), the 22-year-old Twilight star fronts British Vogue’s October issue and talks about many topics, excluding Rupert Sanders (probably). Of “struggling to play it cool” in Hollywood, Stewart told the glossy:

I know if you haven’t thought about how you want to present a very packaged idea of yourself then it can seem like you lack ambition. But, dude, honestly? I can’t. People expect it to be easy because there you are, out there, doing the thing that you want and making lots of money out of it. But, you know, I’m not that smooth. I can get clumsy around certain people. Like if I were to sit down and think, ‘OK, I’m really famous, how am I going to conduct myself in public?’ I wouldn’t know who that person would be! It would be a lot easier if I could, but I can’t.

Okay, I’m a fashion blogger, how am I going to conduct myself in this post? I typically write about Stewart’s face or her shoes, but I use those jokes too often. It would be a lot easier if I could, but I can’t. Maybe I’ll just point out that one of the cover headlines reads “The most beautiful house in England” and that that sounds more enlightening than this. Yeah, good idea, H.Bomb.
