Have you ever thought to yourself, These YouTube makeup tutorials don’t have nearly enough simmering misandry? If so, you might enjoy this “feminist” makeup tutorial making the rounds online this week. Its blend of cat-eye how-to and not-totally-ironic rage is like a mash-up of the lady blogosphere’s polar extremes. It doesn’t exactly satirize either end of the spectrum (the makeup advice is good, after all), but it’s on to something. I’d binge-watch a Netflix original miniseries about a makeup vlogger who violently snaps on the patriarchy, for example.
