Nick Gruber, porn actor turned model turned on-and-off boyfriend of Calvin Klein, is taking the next step in his ambitious post-rehab comeback: he plans to return to catwalks at New York Fashion Week this September, the Post reports. (Page Six Magazine did a substantial profile of Gruber last year, so we know their sources are solid.) This is exciting news, especially after his tell-all book plans fell through and he totaled a car belonging to his ex-boyfriend-slash-publicist, John Luciano, while on a date with a lady in January. Two steps back, one step forward!
Chances are strong that fashion week will provide a meaty plot point for Gruber’s reality show, which is presumably still in the works. The Post reports that Gruber has hired a New York-based publicist at Planet PR and is currently taking meetings with various agencies in New York (he currently isn’t signed with anyone). Perhaps most promising of all, things between him and daddy Klein seem to be on the up-and-up: they’ve been sharing meals together at the Pink Taco in West Hollywood, which is the sign of true love if there ever was one.
