Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, the brains behind the company that single-handedly turned velour tracksuits into an unavoidable craze among celebrities and mall shoppers in the early 2000s, are now aiming to buy back their empire. The duo left Juicy Couture in 2010 after selling it in 2003, and WWD reports that the founders have been scoping out potential investors and partners to reclaim ownership of their brand. The  glam-lounging, “athletic-wear” scene may soon be injected with a refreshed variation to those tracksuits — maybe a luxe velour version of Lululemon?
