Lingerie label Agent Provocateur — the same one that recently partnered with Penélope Cruz on a diffusion line and corresponding porny video — has filed a lawsuit against swimsuit brand Kimberley London for allegedly knocking off their best-selling bikini, called the “Mazzy.” The defendant is Kimberley Garner, a 23-year-old heiress-slash-model who founded Kimberley London earlier this year with a capsule collection of swimwear “inspired by fabulous locations around the world.” Garner is also something of a British celebrity, having appeared on a reality show called Made in Chelsea. She told British newspaper Metro that the suit is “such a nightmare,” adding that she intends to defend her business in court.
While a lawsuit involving a model, two bondage bikinis, and lots of money sounds like a reality show in itself, chances are this will be settled out of court, as all the most entertaining cases usually are. In the meantime, enjoy the extra attention and sales, Kimberley.
