CND’s newest collection of polishes, Vinylux, goes on like regular nail polish (no UV-curing here) but will last a full seven days without cracking, chipping, or fading as long as you finish the paint job with the corresponding Weekly Top Coat. Once paired together, the long-lasting formulas utilize the sun to trigger a polymer-based reaction that adheres the pigment to the nail without a base coat (using one will render the polymers ineffective). However, you’ll still need an acetone-based remover to take the stuff off. Available in 62 colors with many more to come, the polishes will also be available in nail salons.
