The Obama administration doesn’t want to be that guy who thinks girls just make out with each other for the attention and doesn’t believe bisexuality is a thing, USA Today reports. Next month, the White House will host a private, roundtable discussion with LGBT advocacy groups to discuss issues specific to the bisexual community. “Participants and administration officials will discuss a range of topics including health, HIV/AIDS, domestic and intimate partner violence, mental health, and bullying,” White House LGBT liaison Gautam Raghavan wrote in the invitation. The event is believed to be the first of its kind, which sounds right to me. But go ahead and try to picture former U.S. presidents saying “bisexual,” as I have been. It’s kind of fun.
