Purchasing expensive, peacock-y shoes remains one of the easiest ways to pledge your allegiance to fashion, and this week the crowds outside the shows were very devout members of the tribe. Cut videographer Stephanie Szerlip was on hand with the detail cam to capture all the fanciful moments in Fashion Week footwear. Watch for Sergio Rossi’s fantastic fringed heels, Nicholas Kirkwood’s provocative ruffles, Balenciaga’s mega-block heels, old-school knotty-roped Alexander Wang sandals, and studded Louboutin loafers. And we did spot a few slightly more affordable options, like Zara’s patchwork sandals, Tibi’s excellent, low Billy Boots, plus lots of bright pumps in pinks, yellows, and patterns.
