ABC Anchor’s On-Air Mammogram Saved Her Life

Get ready to never make fun of another stunt-y, awareness-raising televised colonoscopy or prostate exam. A few weeks after undergoing her first ever mammogram for a Good Morning America segment on October 1, Amy Robach, 40, found out she has breast cancer. “The doctors told me bluntly: ‘That mammogram just saved your life,’” Robach wrote on ABC’s web site. She is going in for a double mastectomy later this week. Get well soon, Robach.
