Closely following in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld’s capsule accessories collection, dedicated to his snow-white “kept woman” (a.k.a. Choupette), the D.J. and designer are unleashing a new cat unto the fashion realm — and by association, a fresh bounty of bewhiskered leather goods. According to the Telegraph, fashion’s latest feline muse is Viera-Newton’s jet-black, jewelry-wearing cat named Marmite. The upcoming DVF♥HVN collaboration, which will hit the designer’s online shop beginning November 13, will include a “Mo” clutch (complete with bejeweled eyes) and a pair of headphones. Prices start at roughly $95. Meanwhile, Lagerfeld’s collection includes a $465 shopper. Choose your cat allegiance wisely.
