Cameron Diaz Comes Out As Pro-Pubes in New Book

In her glorious new tome, The Body Book, about all of the ways to “love your amazing body,” Cameron Diaz reveals one rather unexpected thing we should all love: our pubes. In a section titled “In Praise Of Pubes,” Diaz waxes poetic about female body hair, referring to it as a “lovely curtain of pubic hair” and referring to the vagina as “that glorious, delicate flower of yours.” She goes on to advise against the “crazy idea” of permanent laser-hair removal, because why would you want to get rid of that “enticing,” “pretty draping,” and also because you’ll probably regret it when your vagina starts to sag: “Also, let’s be honest: just like every other part of your body, your labia majora is not immune to gravity. Do you really want a hairless vagina for the rest of your life?”

Another little tidbit the Daily Mail dug up: Diaz totally used to judge Gwyneth Paltrow for having a bush that “literally sways like seaweed” when she bathed. But now that Diaz has embraced her more natural side, the two probably spend all that new free time drinking detox peppermint hot chocolates and laughing about the rest of us morons who spend an hour having hot wax ripped off our skin.
