Many a celebirty gathered at the American Songbook Gala at Lincoln Center to honor Bryan Lourd, and their sartorial choices were bold: Madonna wore a Victorian leather robe and carried a cane, while Sarah Jessica Parker selected what seemed to be a lacy blue ornamental mat. Allison Williams, Marisa Tomei, and Bee Shaffer posed like sorority sisters, as did Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow. And — finally! — it seems like some serious dancing is happening at last: At the Phillip Lim after party, where Solange Knowles wore chic chambray, party-goers got way down.
