Things are heating up in advance of Monday’s Met Gala: White ties are flying out of stores, stars are Wikipedia-ing Charles James, and news of who’s wearing what and who’s taking who is all anyone can talk about. (Just like prom for famous people.) The New York Post is reporting that Frank Ocean will provide the evening’s entertainment. Jennifer Lawrence will wear Dior (shocker!), future CFDA presenter Lupita Nyong’o is slated to be in Prada, Katie Holmes will wear Marchesa, and Emmy Rossum in Carolina Herrera. Marc Jacobs is bringing Jessica Lange, the face of his beauty line, as his date. But no Met Gala for Gwyneth Paltrow this year; she’s evidently still fanning herself after last year’s hothouse fiasco.
