On Wednesday, Bobbi Brown was tapped as the editor-in-chief for Yahoo’s beauty vertical. Now, multiple sources tell WWD that Elle creative director Joe Zee may have accepted an offer there as well. (Zee, who has been at Elle since 2007, didn’t respond to WWD’s request for comment.)
The item includes speculation about a possible successor for Zee: Alex Gonzalez, who is currently creative director for two Hearst properties, Marie Claire and Town & Country. We emailed Zee for a comment and will update this when we hear back.
