When British accessories-designer Sophia Webster — known for her cheeky speech-bubble clutches and wildly printed heels — entered into a partnership with J.Crew for spring, we were more than a little excited. Her 13-piece collection for the retailer will start at $320 (normally, her wares go for twice that amount). Tom Mora, the company’s head of women’s design, who worked with Webster to put together the lineup, told us that this collection is for “a woman who enjoys a little whimsy,” adding, “J.Crew always looks for something that has a little fun to it — we never want to take ourselves too seriously — and we all agreed these shoes put a smile on your face.” Get ready to smile even wider, because beginning today, the collaboration is available at J.Crew stores and online.
