An oft-heard piece of makeup advice given to brides is, “Don’t disguise yourself.” But now, according to ABC News, some brides are going completely makeup-free on their wedding day. Yes to the dress, but no to makeup?
Carolynn Markey, a bride interviewed in the article, explained:
I wanted to look presentable for my wedding day, but didn’t feel like makeup was part of that process. I don’t think you need to wear makeup to look beautiful.
