A man with a plan and some time on his hands helped himself to the unintentional poetry of famous Hollywood son Jaden Smith in order to flirt with prospective matches on Tinder. Writing for Deadspin, Samer Kalaf describes Smith’s voice thusly:
Though only 15 years old, he possesses the observational skills of a college freshman who just completed his first philosophy class.
Kalaf chatted with matches using such musings as “Trees Are Never Sad Look At Them Every Once In Awhile They’re Beautiful” and “If A Book Store Never Runs Out Of A Certain Book, Dose That Mean That Nobody Reads It, Or Everybody Reads It.” Capitalization and spelling are Smith’s own, of course.
While one woman caught on, others applauded these sensitive chat bubbles. Kalaf’s biggest Tinder fan got positively breathless: “Oh god you’re so existential,” followed by “Keep going” and “I’m starting to think you’re a savant.”
