Mary-Kate Olsen reportedly has a five-hairpin-only rule in place with longtime hairstylist Mark Townsend. (“Her biggest rule: no more than five hairpins ever and I MOSTLY stick to that!” he said in October.) But at last night’s Met Gala, Mary-Kate Olsen threw caution to the wind. She tossed aside convention. She let down her guard and let Townsend use ten hairpins. To create her low bun, he also gave her a moisturizing pre-treatment, mixing unrefined coconut oil with 20 drops of Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Moisturizing Treatment.
