Here’s to hoping that Germany’s star defender, Mats Hummels, isn’t off his nimble feet for long. After scoring the only goal not by Thomas Mueller in Germany’s 4–0 win against Portugal on Monday, he limped off the field and is currently nursing a “heavily bruised right thigh.” No word yet on whether he’ll be well enough to play in Saturday’s match against Ghana, though his outlook seems generally rosy.
