When Keira Knightley got married last year at her parents’ place (okay, it was an estate in the South of France) in an unassuming tulle dress (by Chanel, though) before an audience of flip-flop-wearing guests (who were mostly celebrities, but still), the press sang the praises of her low-maintenance ways. When she dared to re-wear said dress — twice — reports of her chillness only intensified. (The dress later succumbed to a red-wine spill. Relatable!) However, reports the Telegraph, Knightley held a secret second wedding “in a wood,” and for that pastoral ceremony, she wore Valentino Haute Couture. “It was for the ceremony we had just for our friends, in a wood, because you have to have flowers on a dress in a wood,” Knightley said. That reasoning escapes us, but then again we are not, y’know, fancy people.
